Welcome to Airbrush: Fundamentals to Mastery, a thirty six part video course series centered around airbrush as an art making tool, including a full start to finish approach of drawing and painting skills applicable to any process of image making and illustration. The course is built around techniques I use in my own personal work broken down into simple and specific ideas which can be combined to build and grow into complex paintings. Starting with the supplies needed and their parts and function, moving to basic techniques to create lines and gradients, with simple drawing techniques focused on perfecting elliptical curves which can be used to construct three dimensional objects. The course continues with color and lighting along with building perspective to create the illusion of realistic space and atmosphere. Finally pulling some of the techniques together to create larger finished works, and some of my own personal process to show how I integrate airbrush into standard painting techniques.
